Attention is growing on the plight of Palestine. Abbas are you there?

Has anyone seen or heard from President Abbas since the flooding and call for help has arisen?

Me either.  I would assume he would be right in the middle of the mess trying o sooth frazzled nerves, get help from the neighbor nations, going to the UN to apeal for international help and for that body to call Gaza an international emergency and a disaster area.
