Good morning and welcome to Get Healthy Now with Denise Thomson, Certified Health and Wellness Coach, Nurse, Fitness Trainer, Educator, Speaker and Best Selling Author.

As a coach, friend, person I meet lots of different people every day. I get to learn new things daily, things people need, want, have. I have also found out that there are people who have more month than money. No blame, just situations. How can we make positive changes that allow us to stretch the penny to the end of the month?

According to my personal experience and the research I have done, the best solution seems to be budgeting all regular and reoccuring expenses, writing them down onto a budgeting sheet or on excell on the computer and keeping track of every penny spent or needed to be spent, dividing up the funds available into weekly or daily amounts, to avoid things NOT necessary that can add on to stress.

We all know from previous episodes that stress causes disease or sickness - Dr.'s visit - medication - not feeling well - off work - no pay - etc.

There are many free printable Monthly Budget Sheets online, choose the one that suits you best, or make your own.

Be honest with yourself, consider everything, every person in your household, all bills, food, car(s) and it's/their expenses with insurance, fuel, wear and tear, do you own a business? What happens when you move? Donations? Schooling, Education, Extra Curricular Activities, etc.

Sit down with your spouse in a quiet place and start creating your budget. Knowing what you have, what you need and where it comes from and goes to is less stressful than being caught off guard.

Enjoy working together and having a plan/budget.
