As Saul he was so determined to wipe out the Christian heretics, that it took Christ Himself to stop him, on the road to Damascus.  After salvation, Paul's agressive, dominant, direct, aggressive personality style, controversy and confrontation, got "Paul and associates" in trouble all the time, with leaders of the government, churches, synagogues and pagan temples.  He was driven by his debt to all men and his devotion as a bondservant of Jesus Christ.  Talk about open doors, Paul evangelized in about 50 cities, traveling about 12,000 miles.
