Compassionate Activism: Lunch with Louden 5/25/17

We will begin with our Power to the People segment, sharing opportunities for engagement. 

Then we will spend some time ron the question: activism for or activism against? 

Is there a danger in activism AGAINST? The March Against Monsanto was against many contemporary agribusiness practices, but it was also FOR many things: the bees, our health, food without fear of consequences. AGAINST can be powerful but can it be compassionate?

"March for Women, March for Science, March for Truth: activism FOR is powerful, but can it be compassionate? Is there power in looking beyond what we fear in order to see what it is we hope for in our country? In our world? Let’s talk!
