The Influences on our Self-Esteem - Relationships from Birth

Come listen as we continue with the discussion of the developing self and the importance of self-esteem. To survive in our homes, there's a thermostatic level of comfort for all members of a family. When someone attempts to be an "Individual," they put pressure on the comfort level and the comfortable temperature is violated for the members. Consequently I'm required to go along for the comfort/benefit of the other family members. Therefore, it's all about making everybody's relational comfort greater than mine.
