The World African Diaspora Union (WADU) was initiated after the Africa-African American Intellectual Conference (Senegal/M.Asante) in 2004 by James Small, Elombe Bath, Dr. T’Ofori-Atta, Dr. Jeffries, Kofi Adjei, Min. P.D. Menelik Del Jones, etc. In 2007, it was formally established for the unification of the various Black organizations and individuals of the African Diaspora who having accepted a Pan African African-Centered philosophy sought to establish a new global order of justice and equality for all by African empowerment to usher in the 21st Century African Renaissance. The word WADU means feastly gathering in the Bantu tradition of East Africa.
