Imagine growin up in the 1960's, Mobile Ala, the only african Americans the'd ever seen dance professionally was a black guy who performed with the June Taylor Dancers on National Television.
This modern dy visionary loved to dance but he never dreamed it was something he could do to make a living. During his freshman years at a University in Alabama, a group of his friends impressed by the way he dances at parties, urged hi to audition for an on campus dance company. He earned a spot and would go on to have an award-winning 20 year career as a performer.
