As an artist, he may taught techniques. He may learn mechanical methods. He can be shown how to set up a canvas, how to draw an outline. He can be taught perspective and how to mix colors. However, not even the greatest master cannot teach AN ARTIST HOW TO FEEL. Feelings must flow up from within or there will be no beauty on his canvas. An artist cannot be taught, this is something that must come from his own inward feeling as he reaches out toward the essence of beauty.
Words, thoughts, the statement used in a treatment give form to feelings.
