I was just thinking about...Abuse and are we really guilty?

We have heard about the Ray Rice abusing his wife and Adrian Peterson spanking his child...but what is the story behind all the hoolah?

Is it another move to make laws that will adversely affect us all?

Is it a coincidence that this comes on the heels of police brutality and protests on the streets of Missouri?

Are we abusers because of chattle slavery?

Women and children should be protected, but is the overarching the idea that black men are uncontrolable brutes?

Does violence on the football field translate to violence in the home?

Is Super Bowl Sunday the day when women are abused as the media says?

Are these situations being manipulated by the NFL? Any publicity is good publicity?

As we are glued to out TV sets and our computer monitors during this football season have we asked the question:

Does the System really care about black woman being abused and kid being spanked...REALLY?
