There is a big debate going on right now about going back to school to further your education the poor economy and whether or not it will improve your prospects down the road when it comes to employment. The benefits of furthering your education is to improve your prospects when it comes to gainful employment. Since we have moved back into the small business and more and more people are working from home, the older generation needs to change and adapt to the new workplace. That means they need to learn how he incorporates the technology into their business model. The baby boomer generation were the last generation to grow up working in the corporate environment, so they learned how to manage and work with other people in the corporate environment so they can take those same skills and have their own business, but they need to adapt and learn how to use more of the new technology such as building a business using the Internet and social media. Depending on the level of the education many of this generation are still looking for the tried and true job which does not exist anymore, so they really need to change that mindset about what a job is, and how to go out and interview in the new job market by figuring out how they can help a company solve a problem and also do it working from home. Even when you finish your formal education, that does not mean you stop learning. We are always having to learn and adapt on a daily basis to changes that happen on a daily basis, no matter what situation you find yourself in. People who should listen to the show are unemployed people, home-based business owners, entrepreneurs, business coaches, career coaches, life coaches, etc.
