Have you ever wondered how children can sit through replay after replay of their favorite Lion King or Little Mermaid video? It amazes me that they'll voluntarily watch the same show every day without a single complaint or request for something new. There is, however, a strong movement that is stirring the multitudes into a new conception of living. The study of the mind - and its veritable unearthly power - is at last taking its proper place in modern civilization. Proper use of the mind and its various faculties will give you anything you choose - but the emphasis here is on the word "proper." To move in this favored direction requires study and focused, consistent effort ... with a good measure of creative juices stirred in.
In his best selling book, Think and Grow Rich, Napoleon Hill wrote, "You will never have a definite purpose in life; you will never have self confidence; you will never have initiative and leadership unless you first create these qualities in your imagination and see yourself in possession of them." He went on to say that, "... imagination is the most marvelous, miraculous, inconceivably powerful force the world has ever known."

I have trained and conditioned myself to be hypersensitive to time, and I train my clients to respect my hypersensitivity. Why?
Because your bank balance and your satisfaction or dissatisfaction with it is more a reflection of how you invest your time than a reflection of anything else. In my 40 years as a serial entrepreneur, made-from-scratch multimillionaire, and business advisor to thousands, I've seen all these things and worse come and go, occur and occur again. And I've seen some entrepreneurs surrender their attitudes and reality to them, while others defy them and thrive. My primary area of specialization is "marketing," and most of my articles for ETR are laser-focused on that. But truth is, your ability to sell of goods, services, or concepts is sabotaged or supported by how much control you exercise over the investment, direction, and consumption of your time and, with it, your energy and creativity. In reality, time is the asset the entrepreneur owns outright and has total control over. I don't really need to follow you around and observe how you use your time to gauge how you're doing in business. I only need hear about your philosophy of time. That is what governs your behavior and what you will tolerate or refuse to tolerate in the behavior of others.
Another example: Do you actually handle time as money, not just give lip service to the idea? Can you tell me what your time must be worth per minute to achieve your income goal? The question I ask myself is: Will this use of my time move me measurably closer to my meaningful goals? Is there even a chance it will? If not, why do it? You and I have the power of choice in our lives. We have the power to control our future, to own our days, to strive for success, and to take the right action every single minute of every single day to move closer to our goals. The quicker that you realize that success is your personal responsibility and that you can't rely on anyone for anything, the sooner you will be free. No one is going to do it for us... with "it" being anything that matters in life. We choose our roles, our behavior, our habits, and our friends. We choose our networks. We choose our attitudes. We choose to change for the better or languish in disappointment. We choose the easy way out ... or the hard way in. It might take a family or monetary emergency, although I hope it doesn't. It might be by accident, you simply stumbling across a rabbit hole in life that leads to an eye opening seemingly chance encounter. Or it might be a general evolution, a slow revolt against the matrix, a gradual awareness that, "This is not how it has to be!" And then you will start to question things. "Am I doing the best I can with all that I have to give?" "Am I living the life and creating the legacy that I have the potential to live?" "Who are these so-called authorities and why should I believe what they say?" You will learn to ask, analyze, and interrogate. You will deep-dive into the construction of a new reality. You will challenge the authorities in your life. You will contest the status quo. You will dispute the norm.

Quick. Without using Google, can you guess which personal trainer is worth $200 million and is the 2nd biggest distributor of bison meat in America?
Picking the right product, Ford says, requires the following 5-step process. 1) Find out what products are currently hot in the market. 2) Determine if your product fits that trend. 3) If it does, you are good to go. If not, follow steps #4 and #5. 4) Come up with me-too versions of several hot products. 5) Improve them in a way by adding features or benefits lacking in the originals. Success in sales means overcoming inner, emotional resistance. "Money," as Dan Kennedy explained, "is attracted to the individual operating free of guilt or shame. People with inferiority feelings about their information, expertise, or business activities are at a profound disadvantage. They subliminally communicate their guilt to others and unconsciously sabotage themselves." That's selling. But in a much more politically correct definition, I suppose. Listen, even Jesus had to sell. First he sold (sorry, "persuaded") his disciples on going out and spreading his word. Then he persuaded the thousands of people that would attend his sermons on the mount. He sold the beggars and the prostitutes on believing in the word of God. And sure, sure, he had the fact that he could perform miracles on his side, but aside from that "minor" advantage, he was still out persuading every day. From ancient history through to today, humans have realized that when you teach lessons to others, you end up learning more than the student. That's why the best way to develop a greater understanding of any material is to play the role of the teacher and explain it to a student. Nothing is better than working one-on-one with a cynical student. It demands that you become a better teacher, and better understand the material, when you are challenged to simplify your message. You also learn by repeating your message to student after student and adapting your delivery based on their non-verbal responses. But teaching goes beyond just strengthening your knowledge. Teaching makes you a better person, too.
I believe it. I've experienced it time and time again. There's not much work in the world that can make you feel as fulfilled as teaching others. Each time I step on stage to teach and preach, I forget my selfish worries and problems, and leave the stage a better man. Each time I create a video explaining fitness tips, time management, productivity or creative writing techniques, it elevates my mood and leaves me with a satisfied smile. This approach is simple to apply in our own lives. Whatever you know, you can simply follow these two rules for becoming a wiser and better person. First, you must practice what you preach. Second, you must practice preaching it. Try it today. Teach someone something. It could be showing your child how to tie their shoes, or it could be sharing a simple productivity tip with a colleague. No matter what you teach or preach, you'll feel better for it.

When people see this, they ask a lot of questions. The biggest one is "Why?" One reason is that I think it looks cool. However, there are other far more important reasons, inspired by a simple but powerful exercise that can change your life: a vision board. A Vision Board On Steroids
Immerse Yourself in Your Dreams The idea here is IMMERSION. The more you immerse yourself in your dreams, the more real those dreams become and the faster you will manifest them.
1. Creating a vision wall forces you to get specific about what you want. When you ask most people what their dreams are, they speak in generalities. "I want to be happy." "I want more money." "I want a fantastic relationship." The problem is that vague dreams like these are not INSPIRING. They sound nice, but they don't light a fire under you and compel you to take action. 2. Vision walls activate the Law of Attraction. The Law of Attraction (LoA) says that positive thoughts attract positive outcomes, while negative thoughts attract negative outcomes. In other words, if you obsess about getting something, sooner or later you will find a way to get it
Surround Yourself with your Dreams I believe a vision wall is even more powerful than a vision board because it surrounds you. A wall can't be ignored. With the vision wall, you literally cannot escape your dreams. People who should listen to this show are entrepreneurs
My goal is to make a living doing what I love. Sadly, I can't tell you that if you do what you love, the money will follow. I wish that were always true. To be frank, doing what you love doesn't always lead to great riches
Coming at life from such an "idealistic" point of view immediately triggers the "realistic" reflex. That's the device we've all been trained to use to reinforce our story about what is and what is not possible. It keeps us in line. It keeps us under control. "I can't just go doing what I love..." we say. "I have a family to support..." "I have obligations..." "I can't just do that..." These are all valid and quite rational responses to the idea of making a living doing what you love. And it's your choice whether or not you want to allow your life to be governed by these creations. As evolved as we think we are as humans, history has shown we're not too many steps removed from the animal kingdom. Once the luxuries of modern life are stripped away, our similarity to animals becomes very clear, very quickly. But there's one trait animals don't display that we "evolved" humans do. I can't think of any animal that would willingly pursue an activity it didn't feel was in its own best interest. It certainly wouldn't do it 8 hours a day... for years and years. But we humans do this all the time. We do it for many reasons. We do it because we're told to do it. We do it because we're worried about what others might think of us if we didn't. We do it because we don't know any better. We do it because we don't believe in ourselves. We do it because we're scared of the alternatives

As a retiree, I'm always looking for ways to cut expenses without degrading my lifestyle. I illustrated this in my Retirement Spending Plan essay a while ago. It's a good plan, and it's working. But it wasn't feasible until two years ago, when Tricia and I downsized.A bigger house, of course, costs more money to buy. But that's just the beginning. You'll pay more in property tax. It also costs more to maintain, heat, cool, and furnish. Most of us develop some sort of an emotional attachment to our homes. For some, that attachment runs quite deep. I'm not particularly sentimental. So the emotional part of downsizing was not a big issue for me. But it was for Tricia. It took her several years after the children were gone to even entertain the notion of moving.Moving is a real pain in the butt. I'd forgotten because I hadn't moved in such a long time. And the last time I moved, I didn't have anything close to the stuff I have now. Look around your house. If you've been in it for any length of time, chances are you've accumulated enough possessions to make the prospect of moving more than a little daunting.People who should listen to this show are people living above their means or have older parents who can't take care of the home the live in
He's rich, powerful, respected and proud of the fact that he has the same best friends since he was an early teenager
Think of it like a formula for gaining power and just about anything else you want in life. This formula can work for you. I'm sure of it. It can turn you into a powerful, wealthy businessperson if that's what you want. It can get you elected, if that is your goal. It can even help you find the love of your life. However, here's the catch...
You'll probably reject it as too simplistic. 1) You can try to find a way to take what you want. Or 2) You can find a way for the things you want to be given to you.
We must give to get.
