The Future of the African American Child

Dr. Willie J. Kimmons was born in Henando, Misssissippi, raised in Memphis, Tennessee he received an athletic scholarship to attend Lincoln University. Dr. Kimmons has served at every level in higher education teaching: College Professor at several well known universities, classroom teacher, dean, vice president, president and Chancellor.  He is currently serving as an Educational Consultant for Pre-K-16 schools, author of five (5) books and an motivational speaker as well.

Bishop Roger H. Phillips, Sr. PhD. has worked for 15 years climbing to the position of Executive Vice President servicing Fortune 500 companies, entertainment celebrities, politicians, community based organizations and churches. After a 15yr career in automotive Sales and Finance management he retired in the Daytona area.  He maintains an active schedule of teaching, preaching and promoting ecclesiastical, civil and pastoral studies. He lectures and speaks at church conferences, revivals and up until his relocation to the Daytona Beach area, served as a Professor at the Chicago Baptist Bible Institute College in Chicago, Illinois. While there he lectured and instructed classes in Biblical Studies.

Tyrone Davis graduated from University of Houston in 1993 with a Bachelor of Science, Sociology and Psychology. He received both an academic and athletic scholarships, he was Academic All-American in high; and star football player at Iowa State University and University of Houston. He is an active member of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc where he serves as chapter Chaplin and Chairman of their mentoring program. He is married to Dr. Shannon Davis and a father of three. He is currently employed with the City of Houston Municipals Department.
