Both Democratic and Republican candidates for governor are separated by thin margins. Gov. Pat Quinn has declare victory and Comptroller Dan Hynes has not. Kirk Dillard and Bill Brady on the Republican side are still in play and headed for recount. Democrat Alexi Giannoulias and Republican Mark Kirk will face off in the fall election. Toni Preckwinkle defected Cook County Board President Todd Stroger for the Democratic nomination by a 2-1 ratio. Todd Stroger was a victim of racist attacks. We are jointed by Chicago Ad Woman Emma Young.
