BREAST CANCER AND DOMESTIC VIOLENCE AWARENESS MONTH - A Tribute to the Memory of DEBRA D. GRIFFIN

October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, as well as Domestic Violence Awareness month, and we want to use this platform to address both issues, which are near and dear to my heart. This show is dedicated to the memory of my best friend and sister, Ms. DEBRA D. GRIFFIN, author of the book, A JOURNEY TO WELLNESS: A Series of Collective Thoughts'. This book chronicled her fight with breast cancer, in her words and bravely with pictures. Debra, who was the original co-host of this program, lost her courageous battle with breast cancer August 21, 2008. I am a cancer survivor myself (thyroid cancer), but I am also a survivor of domestic abuse, as well as a certified counselor to the victims of abuse.
