Dwight McBride is a pioneer in his field and has a long history as a farmer stemming back to his childhood memories of growing up on his family’s farm in Ohio. Dwight is a hydroponics enthusiast who has developed his own soilless gardening systems.

Hydroponics or soilless gardening enables a wide range of farmers, from those who mass produce fresh goods to those who grow fresh produce for personal use, the ability to grow fresh vegetables, herbs, or flowers in a container that can be placed virtually anywhere without the restrictions of typical soil gardening. In most instances, fresh goods may grow in a temperature regulated room any time of the year, in a convenient location and level that makes it a pleasure to plant and pick the ripe vegetables.

Dwight recalls the days when gardening and farming meant having the hot sun beating down on his back, the sweat pouring off of him and the endless hoeing necessary for keeping up with the weeds. He remembers the effort necessary to walk to and from the garden, stooping over to plant, weed, or pick the vegetables and worst of all, the dependence on the weather for successful output.
