What Was Accomplished At The Black and "Latino" Unity Conference

    in Education

The Flag of Islam reads under Justice/The Star: "The Stars are witness bearers. Every believer in Allah(God) is like the Stars of the heavens above us. The believers bears witness to his Creator, that He is God, the Supreme Being over all. And since we belong to the Creator of Heaven and Earth we are justified by the Creator as being His people." ~The Honorable Elijah Muhammad~ Welcome to TheGodSquad Radio Broadcast. This is a platform that deals with Invincible Truth from the Teachings of The Honorable Elijah Muhammad. We will deal with some of the accomplishments from the The Black and "Latino" Conference. Why is it so important and needed in this hour. That leads up to 10-10-15 in which is the 20th Anniversary of The Million Man March. The Honorable Elijah Muhammad told us that there is 17Million with the 2Million Indians in North America at the time of 4 Billion 400Million all over the Planet Earth. We have to Unite as a solid wall in this crucial hour as Blacks and Latinos. Although we understand the airways are clouded with propaganda and filth that clouds the minds of the people. That doesn't allow them to think clearly and freely. This suppresses The God within and The God without of each and everyone of us. We will also deal with the importance our our Black and Latino Unity Conference. The Weekend of June 12th-14th. It is Our duty as TheGodSquad is to spread the Message and The Teachings of The Honorable Elijah Muhammad through His His National Representative The Honorable Minister Louis Farrakhan. So Join us this Sunday at 6PMEst to deal with this great topic. Invite your friends and family.

Tell a friend to help us in Our great Mission to resurrect the dead by the thousands.

Has Rioting Ever Accomplished Anything? What If I Told You That It Has.

    in Current Events

Today on Coffee, Current Events & Politics, we're going to finish our discussion from last week about how government legsliation, policy and social codes created the troubled inner cities that seem to be social pressure cookers about to blow today.  We'll talk about a few contributing factors that we missed last week, such as the New Deal in the 30s and the Federal Highway Act of 1956.

We'll also talk about riots.  Specifically, we want to answer the question "Has rioting ever accomplished anything?"  Because in the not-so-distant past, rioting actually DID accomplish something, and it was something very significant.

If you want to know what it was and why it's so important to today's growing social unrest, bring your mug and we'll pour you a cup of strong coffee.

Black Church: Mission Accomplished or Missionary Field

    in Lifestyle

State of the Black Church: Mission Accomplished, or Missionary Field? Has the Black Church failed the Black community? Is it true that Black people should not even be Christians, since that faith was forced onto us? What does the future hold for both the Black Church and the Black community she's supposed to minister to? Your hosts Jae Iglesia and Mr. Pearson welcome three men of faith to answer these questions: Minister Adrian McNeal, Minister Keith Woldridge, and Pastor Xerxes Reamer. They will discuss the Black Church, the Black Community, and the recent statements of Dr. Umar Johnson--in The Barbershop!

Pat G’Orge-Walker is in a league of her own; Accomplished Christian author

    in Self Help

Pat G’Orge-Walker is in a league of her own.  This accomplished Christian author and comedienne has an amazing mind and talent for turning her observations of church life into gems of sidesplitting humor.  It is her own special gift from God that enables her to depict the often-ridiculous antics of church folk without subverting the Good News or watering down the potency of its message.

Pat’s comedic gifts range from a southern folk humor laden with parables to an intelligent wit that appeals to a wide-variety of audiences.  Her gift as a storyteller has attracted a diverse and loyal fan base.  Moreover, she is a captivating speaker who is as every bit as poignant as she is funny.

Pat G’Orge-Walker has paid a high price for the ever-present smile on her face.  This Mt. Vernon, New York PK (preacher’s kid) has survived cancer, a raging house fire; a violent assault; a car crash that mangled her body and a viral infection that left her temporarily blinded. Through it all, Pat quietly soaked in material from her father’s Baptist congregation and her mother’s Pentecostal assembly to create the stories that keep readers and audiences howling with laughter. The First Lady of Gospel Comedy is a national andEssence Best Seller, multi-award winner forging a successful career as author and comedian; and has paved the way, formany.  Pat’s storytelling has been likened to Zora Neale Hurston’s folklore—a documentation of American culture and church life in literature.

Hybrid Jazz From Trish Hennessey - with Nathan East!

    in Music

If you are reading this - and you have read other biographical information that your show host has written about hundreds of artists, then this will take you by surprise.  I am totally freaked out.  LOL!!!  Because Nathan East is something else ENTIRELY.

Over three decades of support for household names.  A few - let's alphabetize: Barbra Streisand, Eric Clapton, Daft Punk (Grammy Awards here, pay attention!), Herbie Hancock, Phil Collins, Stevie Wonder, Toto, Whitney Houston....still breathing? Oh, I KNOW, y'all!  This is what I'm SAYING - this man is a ROCK of mass appeal.  Genre jumping, bass busting, talent. Quincy Jones has said: "He's so talented it's ridiculous!"

A little background so yers truly can calm down.  Born in Philadelphia, Nathan was four when his family (eight kids!) moved to San Diego.  Nathan studied cello first, then became interested in bass when he was 14.  His influences: Mingus and Ron Carter.  Electric: Paul McCartney and Chuck Rainey.

On the road with Barry White when he was 16, his resume just grew from THERE.  Multiple awards, soundtracks that are too numerous to mention, co-founding Fourplay, an online electric bass school, an accomplished magician as well as everything else just discussed - and - drumroll, please: over 2,000 credits to his name.  Honest to God, one of the most recorded Bass players in musical history.

The reason for this visit from the esteemed Nathan East on 9/1: his partnership with Fourplay member, Bob James.  Their astonishing project, "The New Cool" is about to drop.  THIS host has dropped already, hearing it!  Music to captivate and haunt, it's the crown jewel within the Yamaha Family, the company that is sponsoring this golden event.

What a thrill to bring you a glimpse into Nathan East.  Second hour. Get your seat EARLY :)

Get the Prayer Scoop with D' Luv - Great "Power Verses & Prayers"

    in Spirituality

    Hello Podcast Friends,

Thanks for being a part of the show!   I got questions????  You don't have to answer, of course, but at least ask yourself....

Are their times when you feel "Lost or Unaccomplished", "Hurt or Angry", or just don't know what you are feeling these days - All YOU know is that you don't feel ADAQUATE!  Well relax and take a BOW, cause U are not along in this REHERSAL!  I know you all understand that we all will have our own CROSS to bear in this world, and I have to presume that we all feel as if we have endured our fair share of pain than JESUS Himself!  HELLO!

But the truth is, we could never WALK one minute in HIS shoes, let alone a mile!  And by accepting this profound TRUTH, has taught me to give THANKS in "EVERY" and "ALL" situtions.

I never said it would be easy by any means, but I do realize I have no choice in the matter.  So, I will be sharing a few more "Power Verses & Prayers" with You - I believe will attract a "supernatural" blessing and change your life forever.

Or on the contrary,  Maybe You are blessed and  know it!  Well, don't forget to share your TESTIMONY!

    I say:  "IT'S NOT LUCK, IT'S A MIRACLE!"

Take Care..will talk to U on the air..

    D'Luv
