State of the Black Church: Mission Accomplished, or Missionary Field? Has the Black Church failed the Black community? Is it true that Black people should not even be Christians, since that faith was forced onto us? What does the future hold for both the Black Church and the Black community she's supposed to minister to? Your hosts Jae Iglesia and Mr. Pearson welcome three men of faith to answer these questions: Minister Adrian McNeal, Minister Keith Woldridge, and Pastor Xerxes Reamer. They will discuss the Black Church, the Black Community, and the recent statements of Dr. Umar Johnson--in The Barbershop!

Pat G’Orge-Walker is in a league of her own. This accomplished Christian author and comedienne has an amazing mind and talent for turning her observations of church life into gems of sidesplitting humor. It is her own special gift from God that enables her to depict the often-ridiculous antics of church folk without subverting the Good News or watering down the potency of its message.
Pat’s comedic gifts range from a southern folk humor laden with parables to an intelligent wit that appeals to a wide-variety of audiences. Her gift as a storyteller has attracted a diverse and loyal fan base. Moreover, she is a captivating speaker who is as every bit as poignant as she is funny.
Pat G’Orge-Walker has paid a high price for the ever-present smile on her face. This Mt. Vernon, New York PK (preacher’s kid) has survived cancer, a raging house fire; a violent assault; a car crash that mangled her body and a viral infection that left her temporarily blinded. Through it all, Pat quietly soaked in material from her father’s Baptist congregation and her mother’s Pentecostal assembly to create the stories that keep readers and audiences howling with laughter. The First Lady of Gospel Comedy is a national andEssence Best Seller, multi-award winner forging a successful career as author and comedian; and has paved the way, formany. Pat’s storytelling has been likened to Zora Neale Hurston’s folklore—a documentation of American culture and church life in literature.

We're back! After a month off the air, Mrs. Barbara Moore and City On A Hill is back. We will take a lookk at 2014 in review of what has been some of the highlights of the year. We will speak about what is ahead and hope that you along with us will be encouraged and emboldened to fight for America's future being played out in the minds of children. It is not a fight we want but unfortunately this is what happens when free p eople forget that the price of their freedom is vigilance. There being informed is most important as the other sides uses lack of information or access to the truth as a prime tool. Funny how things do not change--it worked in the garden of Eden and it still works today. Join us as together we can make a difference.

It's the Monday after Thanksgiving, and I hope that you have had your fill of family and friends and turkey at least until Christmas. Guess what??? Congress has returned to work!!! Did I say "work"??? They have not done anything for as long as I can remember!!! Everyone wants to review legislation with "fresh" eyes! What is so fresh??? Rep. Louis Gohmert from Texas has returned...Rep. Fox from Virginia has returned...Gone will be Rep. Michele Bachmann from Minnesota. But in her place, we will have Sen. Joni Ernst, the "pig castrator," who is coming to Washington to "make them squeal!" (Her words, not mine). What are your thoughts; we'd like to know! Call us at 646-595-3275 and have the coffee perking.
To enter into the "THIRD HEAVEN" is not an act that can be accomplished by one's own might (strength) or power (ability); but it is an "ACCESS" granted by the Spirit of the TRUE and LIVING GOD.
One is "CAUGHT UP" in the "THIRD HEAVEN" involuntarily (unconcious and unintentional).
The "THIRD HEAVEN" is where ELOHIM (GOD our Creator and Maker) dwells/lives and where HE (GOD) releases unto those "GRANTED ACCESS" utterances (DIVINE counsels and strategies) of HIS KINGDOM to be implemented here on planet earth to advance HIS KINGDOM.

The Playground of Life: Charitable New Book of Poetry, from London Writer, Examines War Between Ego & the Divine Self.John Lennon was absolutely right, the world needs more love. Nobody knows this better than S.R. Lore who, after being diagnosed with a long-term health condition, has spent her entire life seeing the world from a critical yet positive perspective. She, like Lennon, is committed to bringing more humanity and peace to life’s proceedings. As an accomplished poet, Lore is finally publishing her first collection titled ‘The Playground of Life’ a small book with a boundless and powerful big message. The poems in 'The Playground of Life' are mostly from personal experiences on reflection. It analyses life and relationships, especially, love. As some of the poems are written at different periods in the author's life the tone and mood changes to reflect that time and situation.Furthermore, because S.R.Lore grew up with a long-term health condition, she started exploring the meaning of life from a spiritual aspect from an early age. The poems also relate to the conflicted role that one has with oneself when it comes to spiritual matters which she call 'the war between the ego and the divine self'. “I, like millions, have always struggled in a battle between spirituality and the ego. While most let these forces pass them by, I saw it as the perfect topic to focus on through poetry,” explains Lore. “It carries a very transformative message that the world needs to hear, particularly at the current time when discord has never been more prevalent.”But Lore’s project is far from personal gain, as she proudly explains.“50% of each sale will be donated to the UCL Hospital and FareShare, two organizations that have benefited me personally yet suffer from a severe lack of funding.‘The Playground of Life’, from Spiderwize, http://amzn.to/1BPSWLW
