Conversion of a Catholic Who Would Not Pray Until He heard an Audible Voice. Tony Koss, a fellow sojourner with me in the Medical Lab at Womack Army Hosptial at Ft. Bragg, while I was an Elder's President (3rd Quorum) of the Raleigh Stake of Zion, my first vision occurring just 3yrs earlier and therefore I was intent on missionary work, and tried to get him to pray, and he would not.  Then an audible voice in the hearing of myself, another Sgt E6 and Tony in the "sticking room" where we drew phlebotomies, when I obeye a command to quote a prophecy concerning myself, and audible voice spoke which we three heard. The verse I was commanded to quote was this, a prophecy of the One Mighty and Strong from Isaiah 52: 7 How beautiful upon the mountains are the feet of him that bringeth good tidings, that publisheth peace; that bringeth good tidings of good, that publisheth salvation; that saith unto Zion, Thy God reigneth! (Old Testament | Isaiah 52:7) Tony then moved on to a TMC and I saw him about a week later in the lab, and he said, "Art! I have read the Book of Mormon in three days!"  Whereupon I made arrangements for him to be taught by myself and two Elders.  I baptized him shortly before his separation from the service with honorable disharge.  This was about April, 1974, shortly before I was ordained a Seventy Apostle in May, 1974.
