This week on The Knee Jerks Eno and Big Al cover a big week of Detroit sports news. The first segment of the show focuses on the Michigan Wolverines and Michigan State Spartans both getting elininated on the same afternoon in the NCAA Tournement Elite 8. MSU fell in an ugly game to UCONN, while Michigan lost in the last second to Kentcky on was is already being called an instant classic.

The middle portion of the podcast is all Detroit Tigers, who shocked the baseball world by giving 2-time reigning AL MVP Miguel Cabrera a contract extension, making him the highest paid player in the four major professional sports. The Tigers also ended contract negotiations with AL Cy Young winner Max Scherzer and traded for ancient SS Alex Gonzalez.

The Jerks end the show by talking Detroit Pistons, who are in full on tank mode, free-falling to the bottom of the NBA standings.
