When Ego Interferes
The word EGO comes from the Latin for I am. EGO like a magnet points to one object, the self.
When we hold an inflated EGO, we act upon a situation primarily to benefit us rather than another person.
Like a magnet, EGO attracts other people with inflated egos. It repels just about everybody else.
It becomes more difficult for us to gain the trust of others when they perceive that we are looking out for our own interests, not theirs.
