Finding a Reputable Rescue
Whether you are adopting, or bringing a dog to a Rescue organization, you need to know who you're dealing with. Many people with good intentions can find themselves in a bad situation, and bad things can happen to good, healthy dogs at the hands of less than reputable Rescue organization. Some of those who run these Rescues post unverifiable stories about an individual, a dogs health on their own Facebook profiles trying to make themselves look good, even though proof can be, and has been provided. They continue to lie, slander and threaten. One such organization even had a lawyer call me and advise (threaten) me with action if I did this show.We will provide the truth. This is a show you do not want to miss. We'll share with you the story of a particular dog who ended up in such an organization, what you can do do help, and what you can do to make sure this never happens to you, or a dog you know and love.

Using Creativity To Rescue Animals
Meet Jan Creamer President of Animal Defenders International (ADI) an organization that champions for oppressed animals across the globe. The renowned group stops animal abuse, rescues animals in distress, and secures legislation that protects animals from harm in laboratories, farms, and the entertainment industry.
In recent years, ADI exposed the cruel treatment of circus animals in Bolivia, going undercover to rescue and relocate 29 circus lions via airlift to safer homes in the United States. Now, the film “Lion Ark” captures the behind-the-scenes plight of the animal rescue, the heartache, and the joyful flight to freedom.

The Humane Society of the United States is the nation's largest and most effective animal protection organization. HSUS helps animals by advocating for better laws to protect them; conducting campaigns to reform industries; providing animal rescue and emergency response; investigating cases of animal cruelty; and caring for animals through their sanctuaries and wildlife rehabilitation centers, emergency shelters and clinics.
ABOUT KATIE JARL As the Texas state director for The HSUS, Katie Jarl helps animals by working to pass animal welfare legislation, coordinating disaster and rescue response for animals in need, and engaging animal advocates to promote animal protection in the state.
