Child rearing is a subject that couples need to discuss when they reach a point of decision about building a long term relationship.  If there are older children from previous marriages, this can get complicated if the children are not clear on who is allowed to exercise authority over them.  When and how should you reprimand the other parent's child? Who should be responsible for enforcing the authority of the other parent?
