History Maker: Dr. E. Faye Williams, President, National Congress of Black Women

Dr. E. Faye Williams, Esquire, is the National President of the National Congress of Black Women, Inc. She was appointed by President Barack Obama to the Presidential Scholars Commission, she hosts "Wake Up and Stay Woke" on WPFW-FM 89.3 and is a Minister at Greater Works Christian Church in Maryland.

Dr. Williams was inducted into The History Makers, she is a member of the Grambling University Hall of Fame and has received the prestigious NAACP Presidential Legacy Award, along with numerous awards for peace, justice and human rights. She has been recognized as one of Ebony Magazine’s "100 Most Influential Black Americans" and "Power 150."

She is the author of 4 books including, THE TRUTH Shall Set You Free and Dr. Williams has appeared on numerous radio and television programs. Visit www.nationalcongressbw.org.
