'The Precariat and Technology'
What is the Precariat? This word is a combo of the words "precarious" and "proletariat." Increasingly, the 99 percent of us can be considered in this group, defined by those who's life fits in that category of the economic strata who've become the losers of the game. The GD2 (Great Depression Two) has now gone on longer than the GD1 and we don't seem to be hearing about a New Deal from the government and we surely don't believe the myth that "war will get us out of a depression." So we talk again, about the B.I.G. Basic Income Guarantee with an eye toward what free unfettered bandwidth and technology could do to spark human creativity, Outernet, Free Education for all, and Virtuality.
