The Month of April has begin designated as " National Poetry Month. " Shortly before my father passed into Ancestry, he was the proud winner of a national poetry writing contest. I shared this information for the first time ( on the Internet ) with some sisters hosting a BTR show about poetry. After speaking " off-the-cuff ", and " freestyling " a poem, I read the two poems that would crown my father the " champ of champs " in the World of poetry. The sisters were very impressed, and they asked if I would actually write some poetry, then share it on air during their next broadcast. Only time will tell if I make it to the show. However, tonight, I will honor my father's work by sharing two of his poems with you. He is the smartest person I've ever known, so I owed him that much. Earlier today, while thinking about how my father's writings and poetry still live within some literary circles, I began to wonder the same regarding the Most Honorable Marcus Mosiah Garvey, his oratory, his thoughts, and his writings. Of course, answers to questions such as these are best pursued using metaphysical thought as a guide. SCIENCE ENCOMPASSES ALL OF THE ELEMENTS OF REALITY. As I've written before, " the Universe is one living unit, and there exists no partition between the living and so-called non-living World. " The First Law of Thermodynamics states that " energy cannot be created or destroyed. It only changes forms. " With this being said, can the argument be made that the life, work, thoughts, actions, and writings of one become manifest in others when one passes into Ancestry ? Can the case be made that arguments about Garvey vs Muhammad, Malcolm vs Farrakhan, etc. are fruitless, because although they ( and most of us ) are different people, we are of the same lineage. Well, hold on tight. If you like metaphysics, tonight will be your night.
