Today's guest Liz Holzemer is a survivor of a tumor known as Meningioma. The wife of a former Major League pitcher, mom of two and free lance writer is celebrating the 2nd anniversary of her book, Curveball, When Life Throws You A Brain Tumor. She is the founder of a support organization called Meningioma Mommas. She has worked diligently to bring attention to brain tumors which are more common than you might think. She has an amazing story of survival and recovery and incorporates self-deprecating humor to give us a look at the "lighter side" of this illness.
