The Aging Younger Show where the alternatives matter. When we started research two decades ago, fibromyalgia was so commonly missed by the medical sickness industry. By the time the average person was finally diagnosed in the sickness industry, they had been seeing various physicians for many years. Today, the pendulum seems to have swung the opposite way in the medical sickness industry, and it’s likely that a lot of people are being misdiagnosed with this condition and are being treated with dangerous drugs just to mask the symptoms and pain. It has unfortunately become a convenient catch-all for a variety of complaints in the pharmaceutical sickness industry. However, there’s no doubt that fibromyalgia is a very real, painful, and sometimes debilitating health condition one that in our opinion, should always be treated in the wellness industry, with or natural to the body substances and treatments such as acupuncture and certainly not with synthetic drugs. Usually these locations of fibromyalgia pain are symmetrical, so you’ll have pain equally present on both sides of your body. Experiencing significant pain when someone presses on those areas, on both sides, is an indication of fibromyalgia. It’s estimated that 2 to 4 percent of the U.S. population has fibromyalgia, and nine out of 10, are women. The typical treatment strategy you will likely be offered, if seen by a conventional medical sickness industry physician, is some form of pain medication, and perhaps psychotropic drugs like antidepressants. We don’t recommend either of them because they do not address the cause of your problem in any way shape or form, and do present a whole new set of problems.
