When is a good time to get in your feelings, since people are so quick to tell you to get out of them?

What do we mean when we say that someone is in their feelings? Are they expressing that they got their feelings hurt? Are we telling them to just get over it?

Are we dimissing someone's feelings when we tell them to get out of their feelings? Are we right for that?

Certainly there are people who whine and cry about seemingly every single little thing, but should we write their feelings off as invalid?

Have you ever been in your feelings? Have you ever felt that way?

Is being in your feelings something to be ashamed of? Is it something that we should hide?

Is telling someone that they are in their feelings an insult?
