You can either treat them so good that anyone else that dates them could never live up to your treatment, or you could do them so dirty that they could never give anyone else a chance. During the honeymoon phase of a relationship, you can be so all in a relationship that the love can feel almost unreal. How long does a honeymoon last though? If it lasts for a long time, there is a good chance that you may start to compare your loves of the past and find that they can't measure up. The person that you are with may have raised the bar so high, that it could impossible that anyone else would be able to match it. That's the good part. The other part is that you could be in such an abusive relationship, that you could be discouraged from ever trusting, or trying again. As terrible as it sounds, it happens.
