    Isabel plans to release two notable books in the upcoming months. The first book titled Celebrate Juneteenth, which will be released in 2024, invites the reader to learn about the recently enacted national holiday, and its importance on freedom and race in America. Another book that Isabel has written, titled Books on Bikes, will be released in 2025.

    Murial Robertson is a rebellious woman of the late 19th century but has to keep a fair amount of that under wraps. Attached to the security detail of her Senator father, Murial longs to break from his grip, yet must also protect him. 
    When her father is threatened by an unknown stalker known as "The Serpent," it is up to Murial to discover his identity. Aided by her cousin Walter and a lawman named Jack, Murial begins an odyssey of intrigue, action and self-discovery in the novella "The Serpent's Star."
    Author and artist Sarah Ickes has brought Murial to life, spurred by her interest in art, history, westerns, Steampunk and suspense. She discusses these and future works on the Brown Posey Press Show. A graduate of Harrisburg Area Community College, Ickes can be found at area events, on social media and at her website.     Lissa has been a literary publicist for more than 25 years. Since 2003, she has been an Adjunct Professor at Emerson College, teaching graduate and undergraduate courses as part of their Writing, Literature, and Publishing program and creating their Book Publicity course. Lissa launched her own company in 2019, which specializes in publicty for books and authors.
    Lissa is the author of The Savvy Author's Guide to Book Publicity and a memoir, The Good Luck Cat: How a Cat Saved a Family and a Family Saved a Cat.
