John G Lake: "The Baptism of the Holy Spirit", Pt. 1 (Cont)

Tuesday we began reading Dr. Lake's first sermon from February 1921 on the Baptism of the Holy Spirit.  Richness of insight, depth of understanding and practical application all characterize his approach to this subject.  He states:  "The Baptism of the Holy Spirit is the greatest even of human history.  It was the REASON for the Cross, the Resurrection, the Ascention.  Jesus received from the Father this Gift of HIMSELF (GOD)  to give to mankind.  If you already have the Baptism, this message will stir up your awareness of what you REALLY have.  If you do not have the Baptism of the Holy Spirit, it will stir up your hunger for it.
