"Medicine for your healing.....Lord, if it be thy will"

In Matthew 8:2&3, Jesus encounters a leper, or I should say, a leper encounters Jesus! In this portion of Scripture we encounter the famous phrase that is normally used in prayers for the sick, "Lord, if it be thy will.....heal this one".  That is always the prayer prayed by those who don't know what the will of God is concerning healing the sick...the 'earth-toward-heaven' prayer.  In Jesus' response, we see the 'heaven-toward-earth' answer:  "I will, be thou clean".  Join me today as we settle the issue, 'if it be thy will'.
