Deborah Chang, joins us from California to talk about her new book,  "First Mistake: Facing Death, Finding Life," a love story about defying the odds (even certain death) and a spiritual memoir about the search for identity, partnership, and the meaning of life.   This is an inspiring story of self-discovery and spiritual awakening, as we trek along with Deborah from a place of dark despair into the light of hope and miracles. All the while, there is a thread of hope that runs through this narration of her journey, as we are privy to her inner-most thoughts while she begins to open her eyes to who she truly is and we come to see that she will do great things with her life beyond the conclusion of the book. This is, not only a wonderful story about this strong woman, but it inspires us to open up to our own true selves.  And we are excited to have the opportunity to talk to Deborah about it!

Internationally recognized violist, recording artist, composer, holistic healer, AND First Violist for the New York Pops Orchestra, Dr. Karen Olson joins us, once again, from New York.

And Dr. Mara on the situation of children separated from their parents at the border.  And a related sneak peek into her new book, The Passionate Life: Creating Vitality & Joy at Any Age, to discuss Chapter 8, about coping with bad news.

Dr. Mara's book is now available on Kindle...and launching to soft-cover beginning September 10!  http://bit.ly/ThePassionateLife
