Join us for a recap of Week 1 of the San Francisco International Film Festival. 'Movie Outsider' Harry brings you his reviews of the latest Independent, Foreign, and Experimental films showcased at the San Francisco Film Society's 52 Annual Film Fest. 'Movie Insider Wannabe' Kurtis will brings his notes from the SXSW Fest and attempt to belittle Harry's dead-on and perceptive reviews. He will fail miserably, but that's the fun of listening! Amy will try to be the peacemaker even though she'll probably side with Harry. Also joining us in this "Cinematic Thunderdome" will be guest critic Lincoln Spector of bayflicks.net, a San Francisco Bay area-based blog specializing in film festivals, revival theaters, and independent film, Scott Von Doviak, film critic for the Fort-Worth Star Telegram and author of "Hick Flicks: The Rise and Fall of Redneck Cinema," and Andrew Osborne of 'the screengrab' feature at nerve.com. We're gonna focus on narrative film this week - films to be discussed include "Bullet to the Head," "The Immaculate Conception of Little Dizzle," "Confessional," and the film Kurtis won't shut up about, "My Suicide." Next week we'll hit the documentary and experimental film categories. So join us as "actually qualified commentators" join the worst broadcast team on web radio to discuss the latest in film.
