OBJECTIVE: Looking for an employment opportunity as a stock clerk where I will accurately and timely execute my shipping and receiving skills and my ability to safely use my strength for lifting heavy objects.

2. Research the job you want. Read this eHow article for tips. You need to be sure you know the duties of a stock clerk. Be sure the job title you ar using is up-to-date. Be sure the title fits the industry, and even fits that particular company.

3. Register at the employment office in the city you wish to find a job. Even visit the employment office in the geographical area where you would like to work. Get information online about the agency you will be visiting.

4. Attend workshops dressed for a job interview. Any workshops that help with job search can be benefiticial. Be prepared to ask questions and gain information to help you get a job.

5, Prepare a resume for each occupation you are interested in. Your resume is a photo of how you will look as the person doing that particular job. Unless you are seeking only one occupation, you need more than one resume. Seek resume help at your local employment office.

6. Prepare a master application that includes all your work history, education, qualifications, and several references.

7. Prepare a daily job search agenda of names, dates, places, to go, people to see, people you saw, what they said.

8.Make a contact list of strong possibiities for a yes! Do follow ups from that list.

9. Career opportunities must be researched as part of job search. The same skills you have now  can be used in various other occupations.

10, Plan a communication script. Match your words to your job field. Speak terms related to job.
