WomenCount Radio talks to Deborah Ortiz

WomenCount is happy to welcome Deborah V. Ortiz to the show! Ortiz was a Democratic California State Senator, representing the 6th State Senate District. Prior to her election to the State Senate she served in the California State Assembly from 1996 to 1998 representing the 9th Assembly District of California. But as many women in politics she started out on the Sacramento City Council. Currently she is the Vice President of Public Affairs for California.
