WomenCount Radio Talks to Geraldine Sam, Mayor of La Marque, Texas

Last May Geraldine Sam, a first grade teacher in La Marque Texas, became the first African-American mayor in the history of Galveston County Texas. She has taught school in La Marque for 24 years and continues to do so while serving her three-year-term as Mayor of the town.
