Joni James Aldrich is going to share her personal journey of being a caregiver to her husband, Gordon, that had cancer and lost his battle May 2004.

From Joni's personal experience, which she refers to as 'the cancer school of hard knocks',  she has authored several books as well as helping others through their journey. Behind every cancer victim is at least one caregiver, family members, friends and others who are desperate for guidance, advice, comfort and a way to help. She does hope that someday it will no longer be necessary for anyone, but until then her destiny is to help all that are in need.

Joni knows what patients and caregivers need to hear and she knows how they need to hear it. She explains cancer care without using medical jargon.
