Gloria has been living with Interstitial Cystitis and Lupus for 25 years and traditional doctors were unable to improve nor resolve her symptoms. Gloria decided: "It was time to take responsibility for my own health care and stop hunting for the cure. The fact was I had a myriad of symptoms that could have had any number of causes and looking for the cause became secondary to improving my quality of life through healthy lifestyle changes."

"I had many teachers and I was taught that if I wanted to resolve and prevent health issues, I needed the following:"

* A healthier diet (comprised of organic fruits and vegetables)
* Water intake that is free of heavy metals and chlorine
* Relaxation techniques including deep breathing exercises
* Outdoor activities so as to get adequate natural light (sunshine)
* Adequate sleep (up with the sun, down within a couple hour of sunset)
* Exercise, walking, stretching, yoga and physical therapy
* Significant decrease in the use of toxic chemicals in my body and living environment.
* A truer love of myself, others and Mother Nature
* A deeper spirituality (time alone with self, meditation and a higher power)

"I was so excited over this simple approach that I became empowered to take better care of my body and mind because, for the first time in my life, my symptoms were decreasing."

Today Gloria is going to sharing with us how to eat healthily by telling us: What she eats, How she prepares her food, What she eats in a day, and How it has effected her life with Interstitial Cystitis and Lupus.
