Elaine DeLack has been diagnosed with MS since 1988 and was told by the neurologist "There's nothing we can do for you, go home, eat well and get your sleep."After the shock wore off, about a week later she was able to think clearly, but not sure what to do next.

She tried different treatments for her symptoms of MS except the one she was prescribed earlier from Dr. Bjork for injections of Vitamin B12 and Adenosine Monophosphate. She did however take Vitamin B12 oral supplements, it helped some, but not enough to stop seeking other treatments. She held onto that prescription from Dr. Bjork for 2 years. finally decided to do those injections, but the script was 2 years old and Dr. Bjork had passed away. After speaking with her boss and friend, a veterinarian, he referred her to the best doctor she has ever had. The doctor reviewed the old prescription, and didn't see how either would hurt her. He prescribed injections of 500mcg-Vitamin B12 and 25mg-Adenosine Monophosphate every other day, into the muscle. Within the first week she began noticing she wasn't full of cement anymore, she had more energy and she didn't collapse into the chair at night.

Elaine and her husband, Marvin, came up with the name of 'Procarin' from the words; pro and caring. Which Pfizer Pharmaceutical, Inc. opposed that name for fear people would confuse it with "Procardia" the cardiac drug. So she asked of them to accept the trade name of "Prokarin™", and as you can see, they did.

Elaine will share with us her personal journey with MS and how Prokarin™ came about and what it is made of.
