Our guest; Marjorie Brook is a Nationally Certified,New York State Licensed Massage Therapist,Advanced Active Isolated Stretching Practitioner and creator of Scar Tissue Release Therapy.She's certified in Soft Tissue Release,Myofascial Release, Paraffin Wax Therapy and is an Infant Massage Instructor. She's also a Reiki Practitioner and a certified Personal Trainer.

Marjorie chose to leave her career in Broadcasting (which ranged from PBS to ABC News) in order to make a difference on a more personal level.Marjorie currently teaches her new technique, Scar Tissue Release and Active Isolated Stretching Seminars throughout the United States, Canada and Europe. She has written several articles for local papers and Massage Today Magazine. She has appeared on News 12 Long Island several times as well as the TELECARE Channel's On Long Island program to demonstrate the techniques and discuss the benefits of both Massage and Infant Massage. Marjorie was on staff at South Nassau Communities Hospital as an instructor for eight years and teaches for several Adult Education Programs on Long Island. Her private massage practice caters to both healthy and special needs adults and children.

Pioneered by Aaron L. Mattes, Active Isolated Stretching is practiced in many areas of healthcare and sports by a multitude of Doctors,Massage Therapists,Physical Therapists, Chiropractors,Personal Trainers and Athletes to improve the body's potential to not only heal itself,but to enhance performance as well.
