Correction: I want to tell folks why Obama was a part of Trinity! They do so much for the community from educating people about HIV/AIDS, youth programs, prison ministries. Just check www.tucc.org. All the information is there, and I think Rev. Wright is absolutely right!

I'm mad this show ended, but this is excellent. I'm excited to talk about Barack and Rev. Wright on Black Author Network tonight. I want to tell folks why Obama would've been a part of Trinity!

Ron, put down the drugs! I can't believe you compared Jesus to Tookie Williams or Tupac. First of all, Tupac was a follower who ran after gangs as soon as he was fresh out of jail. Tookie Williams killed a whole gang of people and if not imprisoned, he probably wouldn't have done the positive things that he did. I'm not even religious, and I'm not buying that!

99:43, Ron, you can watch FOX News 59 more minutes than me. My grandfather LOVES watching that show. He's a vet though and strongly believes that you have to know what your "enemy" is thinking so you must watch him. He watches FOX news all day long for comedic effect. That station makes my skin crawl.

...insulting, protecting property that isn't ours, ridiculing those who try to get an education). We're not innocent either, so I'm going to agree with Jerry too.

Every time y'all talk about White Jesus, I keep picturing Ruckus on the Boondocks, the biggest sell-out on cartoon network, and even more scary, folks I've met in real life. As for Jerry, he actually has some points. We can talk all day about what we want somebody else to do, but I'm also in Chicago, and I've seen more than enough Black folks make a bad situation worse. We know we're self-hating and do that ish proudly. Start with calling each other niggas and work our way back (i.e., killing, i

87:00, okay, they got me back again when they said run out of a Black church with White Jesus on the wall. Great point!

All right, at 84:00, Brotha's Keepa lost me. I get the impression that they're trying to call Barack Obama a spade, but he took the time to talk about racism from both Blacks and Whites. Although I wish he would've agreed with Rev. Wright in regards to the war, to question a man who has consistently helped not only random folks in Africa but his own African family and then question his blackness amazes me. Barack is more in touch with Africans than most folks who critize him for his Blackness.

I love when Mr. Morris calls in. He's always so on point. His point about locking doors in painter clothes was dead on. I had a co-worker tell me "America is the best damn country in the world, but we have work to do." I stared at her and told her I'll agree with the latter part of her message. I love my family. I dig Chicago. But I'm not impressed by America's history.

...that's their problem. Read about it. Learn about it. Then correct it instead of trying to bury it. There are a lot of people on the site I work for who are FOREVER trying to act like America's history is not as brutal as it is. Call me unpatriotic. I like Canada better anyway.
That was a good question that the caller asked around 44:00. I read a similar comment on Associatedcontent.com/shamontiel about me practicing hate by pointing out history and saying Rev. Wright should do it in a nicer way. I don't know about Rev. Wright, but I don't have time to appease anybody. Historical facts are truth. Slavery, rape, racism, and murder aren't pleasant topics, so I refuse to write about it in a happy-go-lucky-all-as-well manner. If folks don't like to know their history, that

Wow, that was a strong opinion about erotica writers around 41:00, especially considering I just got through listening to Grown & Sexy on Black Author Network (Blog Talk Radio). However, I do believe that historical books are necessary for young Black women and men are growing up, actually young people in general!

I was sidetracked and didn't get to hear the show at showtime, but you better believe I'm listening right now. I have strong opinions about Barack Obama, Reverend Wright, and Trinity Church (http://www.associatedcontent.com/article/660969/reverend_dr_jeremiah_a_wright_jr_racist.html).
