Considering the tremendous medical advances and a seemingly triumphant and thriving Magic Johnson, would you knowingly date someone who is HIV Positive? Do you make the assumption the person you love or are involved with or want to be, is healthy? This week our featured guest host will be Tangy Macon-Minor. Tangy's story has been shared nationally on shows like BET and she also speaks at various engagements, to include the Beautiful Gate Outreach Center. She is currently living with HIV and is newly married and the mother of a young daughter. All of this after her spouse knew she was afflicted with the disease. Be sure to tune in. She'll touch your life. We will also host Author Chakara who does outreach work in the field of HIV/AIDS and other STDs in the Raliegh/Durham area. Lastly, we have Fallon Johns and her mother. Fallon's mother and father both contracted the disease when Fallon was 6 years old. Fallons' mom went about 18 years hiding the disease by not taking her meds, etc., because of the stigma attached to the disease. However, she now serves as an activist to get folks tested and provides awareness. This show this week is NOTHING SHORT OF A GIFT! If you have questions or curiosities about HIV/AIDS and living with the disease be sure to tune in and call in! THIS IS YOUR LIFE! Bring a friend. Call in number: 646-381-4789. We'll meet YOU on the BRIDGE!
