EJ “Skullcrusher” Extreme Survivalist, Adventurer, Survival Instructor, Survival TV Host, Retired 25 Year Army Combat Vet, Motivational Speaker, Writer EJ was born and raised in Northern New Jersey. He grew up in some tough Italian neighborhoods. EJ loved Sports and dedicated a lot of time to the Art of Fighting.At 19 he joined the US Army as an Infantryman and Paratrooper. EJ was exposed to his first level of formal Survival Training while attending Ranger School. He continued to expand on his Outdoor Skills in his free time. While serving as a Ranger Instructor he became the Primary Survival and Tracking Instructor for the Florida Ranger Camp. He then attend the SERE Course (Army Survival School) and the Nature and Vision Tracking School. Survival became his passion and started EJ on a Self-Study to become the best All-Around Survivalist he could focusing on not only his Military Survival Skills, but Primitive, Self-Reliance, Off The Grid, and Self-Defense. Once EJ retired from the US Army he was hired as a Government Contract Survival Instructor teaching future Green Berets and other Soldiers Survival techniques at the Special Warfare Center at Fort Bragg, NC for 6 Years. EJ has well over 40 years of Outdoor Experience, 25 years Survival Experience (10 as a Formal Instructor), and 25 Years Military Experience (2 Years in Combat ’91 Gulf War and OIF). EJ has also lent his services as a Survival and Military Expert TV Persona, having been Technical Adviser and Commentator to many TV/Film/Commercial Projects, as well doing some Acting and Stunt work for other projects. EJ is most known for his three appearances on the emmy Nominated Hit Survival TV Series from Discovery Channel, “Naked and Afraid”. EJ appeared in Season 1 (Tanzania), Season 2 (Amazon)
