Call in and ask questions at 646-716-8075 ON THE TRIGGER WITH CRUZ-ALLTHING'S BANG IS HONORED TO PRESENT: RYAN SEXTON Ranchers for Veterans Bio The Sexson family leases a small ranch in the North Central Sandhills, about 40 miles from Valentine, Nebraska. Ryan and Jamie and their 3 children, Rylie, James and Addie founded Ranchers for Veterans in 2016. Ryan and Jamie have always been very patriotic and have instilled that in their children. In December of 2015 they were trying to decide what to do for help during calving. Calving is the time of year when all the mother cows are having babies. It is very labor intensive in the sense that it is a 24 hour a day 7 day a week job for no less than 60 days, often more like 90 for Ryan and Jamie. The kids help out but they are only 10,8,6. Jamie came up with the idea of bringing a Veteran in need to the ranch. The main goal was to provide a healing environment for someone that needed a hand up and hopefully get some help on the ranch in return.
