Black Farmers Are Seeking Justice
At 10AM on Monday, November 19 in Birmingham, Alabama, there will be a press conference concerning the issue of discrimination that black farmers face. Join in and listen to independent black farmers, Michael Stovall and Robert Binion, along with Pastor Van Johnson of Greater Antioch Baptist Church in Birmingham, Alabama, as they inform us about their organizing efforts to confront this issue.

Veterans to Farmers
Continuing our Veterans Forum Series, I will be joined by Marine Corps veterans Buck Adams, the founder of Veterans to Farmers, a non-profit in Denver, CO which trains veterans in controlled environment agriculture (growing produce inside greenhouses). We will be discussing agriculture as a profession and as a therapy for veterans suffering from PTSD.

A special segment on the Southeastern African American Farmers Organic Netowrk, a network of African American Organic Farms throughout the SOuth East of the US.
