Raising Peaceful Children: Living Peace! Teaching Peace! Part 2

"Raising Peaceful Children" is a topic I'm very passionate about and I believe that EVERYONE has a role in helping to raise a peaceful child. Over the next few weeks, I'll be sharing with you, various practices which are supportive to "Raising Peaceful Children".

PRACTICE 7:   Living Peace! Teaching Peace: If you want your child to act in a peaceful way then you must model Peacefulness!  Children learn what they live with...day by day and moment by moment. During this program I'll share with you the great wisdom of Dorothy Nolte. Once you know the values you stand for, then you model them for your children and can teach them to your children!  In this program we'll focus on a couple fun ways of teaching your values to your children.

Sharon Ann Wikoff is a teacher, consultant, writer, and motivational speaker specializing in the fields of parenting, communicating with young children, self-esteem and personal transformation.  She holds two teaching credentials and has been working with children and families for over 30 years.  Her monthly column, "Listening 2 Children" appeared in the West County Gazette for several years.
