Raising Peaceful Children: YOUR Family's Declaration!

"Raising Peaceful Children" is a topic I'm very passionate about and I believe that EVERYONE has a role in helping to raise peaceful children. Over the next several weeks, I'll be sharing with you, various practices which are supportive to "Raising Peaceful Children". They will be on many different aspects of raising peaceful children such as learning to focus on "what's right", core values, special "teaching" moments and how to become centered yourself.  These programs will shorter than my usual programs, ranging from 15-30 minutes. If you are important in the life of a child, I invite you to tune in. If inspired, call in and share an insight or a precious moment you shared with a child.

Parents, of course, have the most influence in raising their children.  However, EVERY interaction with a child makes a difference, so it's important to make every interaction a positive one!  Teachers, doctors, ministers, grandparents, sales people, etc. all have an opportunity to nurture peacefulness for a child. 

PRACTICE 4:  YOUR Family Declaration!  Last year I was in a blogging class with Lesa Townsend. She suggested we could relate our blog to a current holiday.  So, I did so and created a "Declaration of Independence" for Families.  I will share this today and invite YOU to create one too for your family.
