On this episode of the VIP Ignite podcast, your host Deneen White is excited to speak with Gary Alexander Jenkins. Gary received his JD from Columbia Law School in 1986, where he served on the Human Rights Law Review. Gary specializes in Entertainment Law.

In 1990, Gary was named the General Manager Emeritus of Uptown/MCA, one of the most successful urban boutique independent labels of all time, where he helped bring to market such platinum artists as Mary J. Blige, Notorious B.I.G, Jodeci, Guy, The Late Heavy D and Al B.Sure!, and was one of the early mentors to Sean "P.Diddy" Combs. Gary also served as one of the Music Supervisors on the Uptown/MCA produced film "Strictly Business", which featured Oscar winner Halle Berry in her first feature film role.

Gary's entertainment client list over the past two decades reads like a veritable "who's who" in music, television and film, as he has represented such successful artists, producers, songwriters and record labels as French Montana, Freddie Jackson, Trackmasterz, Dame Grease, The Wutang Clan, 95 South, 69 Boyz, Mobb Deep, Soul IV Real, Monie Love, Onyx, Khia, Nice 'n Smooth, Big Daddy Kane, Doug E. Fresh, Kool G Rap, The Late Jam Master Jay, Trick Daddy, The Russell Simmons Music Group, DMX, Ralph Tresvant and "The Reunion", an independent film selected to premiere at the prestigious 2016 Martha's Vineyard Black Film Festival.

Whether you are a seasoned professional or new to the industry, you definitely want to listen to this episode!
