There's a wonderful book by Kripalu yoga teacher Stephen Cope called Yoga and the Quest for the True Self. Right about now we need a book called The Self and the Quest for the True Yoga. Since there are so many varieties and styles and methods of yoga practice, how does a person actually practice? I have people say to me all the time, "I can't practice, I'm not flexible." Or, "I can't practice, I'm not spiritual." But you don't have to be either to take on a yoga practice! What do you need to get the rewards of this popular, potent way of being and becoming a person?
