Field Notes From a Dark Place

It's so wonderful to hear a story of triumph and victory after someone has walked through an incredible challenge. We don't often hear, or share, from the middle of the dark place itself. Today I share from inside an unfolding place of both pain and opportunity in response to many friends who have said to me: "how are you doing this?" Here are three ideas that sustain and support my endeavor to hold on during the hardest storms of life; they are the beliefs that have guided me over the years, expanding my mind and allowing me to find, that even in the darkest places, there is a light that never goes out.
